Dr Roger Hammond and Dr Stephen Moate are qualified specialists in the field of orthodontics. They are dedicated to providing their patients of all ages with professional, friendly and, most importantly, quality orthodontics.

Northside Orthodontics is centrally located at two convenient locations: 7 Starkey Street Forestville (map), opposite Coles and 1st Floor, 394 Sydney Road, Balgowlah (map). We are easily accessible for the majority of Northern Beaches and North Shore patients. For parking directions, please view our map details.

TOOTH AID
Northside Orthodontics support the Tooth Aid Organisation. Tooth Aid Inc was set up to provide quality dentistry to people who would otherwise have limited access in developing countries. All dentistry carried out by the Tooth Aid organisation is funded through materials and money raised through memberships from organisations such as Northside Orthodontics.

DR HAMMOND

Roger graduated from the University of Sydney in 1989 with a degree is dentistry. He worked as a general dentist in Armidale and Byron Bay and after an adventurous holiday through Central America and Morocco he returned to Sydney to complete his postgraduate course and received a Masters of Dental Science (Orthodontics) from the University of Sydney and has a special interest in adult treatment .

Apart from Orthodontics, Roger enjoys spending time with wife Simone and his young children along with surfing and fishing.

DR MOATE

Steve graduated from the University of Sydney in 1992 receiving his degree in dentistry with honours.

Steve worked as a flying dentist in the Northern Territory servicing the Arnhem Land area and then in private practice as a general dentist in Sydney .

Steve completed his training as an Orthodontist and has a special interest in early intervention treatment.

Steve is married to Janelle who is a Veterinarian and they have a son Henry and a daughter Anna. Steve also has two dogs Baz and Sammy and a cat Rupert (who rule the house). He loves the outdoors, especially jogging along the beach.
His true passion is AFL, he is an avid fan of the Sydney Swans, Go the SWANNIES!
